What a blessing your “Lessons for Healthy Living” DVDs have been!! Thank you.
My husband and I are going to change our lifestyle and we have some questions.

Q: What about essential oils? Do you use them?
Dr. Jeff: If you are talking about oils that have certain medicinal affects, then I am all for them, if used carefully and moderately. They are far superior to synthetic drugs. What is “essential” are essential fatty acids (EFA’s) that are part of a healthy diet.
Q: What category do fats go in? With what do you eat them?
Dr. Jeff: Fats are in their own category. They digest well with anything and need to be used in moderation and from good sources (nuts, seeds, avocado, olives, fish, etc.). Animal fats are well tolerated in small amounts from NATURAL sources.
Q: Do you think fermented vegetables are good for you, we ferment with water only, no vinegars or sugars. doesn’t fermenting them make them easier to digest?
Dr. Jeff: I am not a fan of fermented vegetables as a rule. They are not better digested as such.
Q: Do you and your family take any of the products you sell? How do you use them?
Dr. Jeff: I would not endorse any product I have not or do not use. I use them to supplement the poor food sources available in today’s world, and to counteract the onslaught of environmental toxins we face. (see WellWithU.com archives on detox classes)
Q: I am very interested in a cooking class with Dr. Andrea, how to make smoothies and bread !! Does she have a DVD or something? If not could she share some recipes????
Dr. Jeff: We are in the planning stages of many instruction products, stay tuned…
Q: What is the name of the liquid form of minerals you suggest taking in your Healthy Living DVD’s? There are many on the market these days.
Dr. Jeff: Any colloidal minerals from a clean source are fine. (Be sure it is “full spectrum”.)
Q: We are very interested in the blood test that you talked about on webinar!!
Dr. Jeff: They can be ordered by me, and sent to you from the lab (after determining what is needed.) You would have to take the kit to a local lab, have them draw your blood as per kit instructions and then you mail it back to the lab in package provided (the lab pays all shipping in both directions.) They send me the results.
Q: I have been hypo-thyroid for many years, I have only done natural supplements for it, we have just gone thru the intense de-tox of Dr. Tunsky’s. It seems to me that you believe if we eat right, we won’t need to take anything supplemental, if possible, that is my goal, to get my thyroid functioning on its own. I want to be healed so I don’t have to take the supplement.
Dr. Jeff: Detox, eat right, and continue to purify from heavy metal and environmental toxins!

What about grape seed oil, is it good for you?
Grape seed oil is extract from the seeds of grapes (obviously). It is a light oil with a relatively high smoking point when heated, but does contain primarily Omega-6 fatty acids. It is a mono-unsaturated fat and will be moderately stable, but I recommend using it raw, if at all. The average diet is already high in Omega-6 fats, so no need to add more. And for cooking, a stable fat like coconut oil is far superior.
